Manage the development and implementation of comprehensive support services to ensure all participants have access to on-site and off-site supports.  In this expanded role, teach, develop life skills curriculum and program policies, implement diverse methodologies such as harm reduction (substance abuse), trauma informed approach and staff training. Create and develop program policies and systems, facilitate trainings for staff and students, oversee, modify and facilitate life skills curriculum. Provide supervision to one Case Manager.

  • Develop and oversee ISPs and implement as a tool to support youth in achieving their goals
  • Provide counseling to participants utilizing modalities and approaches including but not limited to MI, SFBT, and CBT
  • Facilitate the SBIRT program wide.  Oversee drug testing, facilitating brief interventions, and administering the DAST and AUDIT assessments
  • Track attendance and initiate meetings with students and appropriate staff to address barriers to consistent attendance
  • Work closely with Program Director to further develop effective policies, data tracking systems and structures for Case Management component
  • Co-facilitate weekly Life Skills classes with Case Manager
  • Coordinate efforts with Case Manager and Transition Career Specialist to ensure student participation and retention during and 12 months after graduation
  • Oversee leadership development component including Youth Policy Committee, leadership training, and identify leadership activities & opportunities   
  • Complete data reporting and submit program quarterly reports in a timely and efficient manner


  • MSW with MA state licensure (LCSW or LICSW) and a minimum of five years of counseling, advocacy, group facilitation, and support services to youth and young adults and two years of supervisory experience, or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of the specialized needs of those experiencing racism, addiction, trauma, mental health, relationship violence, and criminal involvement
  • Extensive knowledge of supports and services in the Metro-North Region
  • MS Office proficiency
  • Ability to recruit businesses, faith-based groups, schools, non-profits, and other possible to serve as mentors or volunteers
  • MA Driver’s license, regular local travel required
  • Ability to work flexible hours outside of Monday- Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM schedule as needed
  • Acceptable CORI/SORI
