In this workforce development role, provide day-to-day management of staff (including teachers) and oversee this innovative and successful program.  Drive program development and build partnerships and relationships with potential employers.

●     Oversee the recruitment of candidates for program participation including screening and selection

●     Advise on identification of program needs for proposals, grants and private fundraising

●     Participate in program budget preparation and assist in monitoring and maintaining appropriate oversight and cost controls

●     Provide curriculum oversight and adjustments to meet industry needs

●     Schedule and conduct quarterly Advisory Board meetings

●     Attend local networking events to increase visibility of JAS BMCP in the local business community

●     Augment our current roster of industry contacts who will participate actively in the program as guest speakers and will provide exposure to the industry for our students.

●     Establish and manage partnership with BHCC (Workforce Development Center), as well as other constituencies in the Biotechnology industry

  • Coordinate schedules and activities of Teachers and Administrative Assistant


  • BA/BS degree required and a minimum of three years in a program management role with one year as a supervisor, or equivalent
  • Knowledge of biotechnology industry required
  • Teaching experience desired
